Thanksgiving Leftovers Pizza

Almost a week into the beginning of our holiday festivities here, I was very inspired by this post and then this post which shows a way creative take on the much-loved thanksgiving leftover sandwich. And we have lots of leftovers -- from our pre-thanksgiving potluck on Sunday, our thanksgiving celebration with friends, and a post-thanksgiving leftovers party on Friday -- we're pretty stuffed with stuffing and all the works, and so with this pizza, I was hoping to put all of it to rest. And I did! Now, except for the leftover pizza (and gravy!), we only have real food in the fridge. I can't wait! But for now . . .

The Spice Must Flow's version of
The Thanksgiving Leftovers Pizza

On a baking sheet topped with a layer of corn meal, add (in this order):
- rolled out pizza dough
- 4-5 tbs. leftover cranberry sauce
- layer of mashed potatoes
- stuffing (cut or broken into small pieces and distributed evenly across the pizza)
- seitan loaf (cut or broken into small pieces and distributed evenly across the pizza)
- 4-5 tbs. gravy dribbled evenly across the pizza

Bake for 12 minutes in a 450 degree oven. It helps if the ingredients are either warmed in the oven, or at least not ice-cold out of the fridge, so that everything will heat evenly in the oven.

Caught with gratuitous extra gravy on the top!

Yay fikustree/lazy smurf for this great idea!!!
