This summer, from strawberry to raspberry to marionberry and blueberry, to peach to pear to plum, I picked. And picked. And picked.

My freezer is filled with summer.
Once upon a time, I wrote a blog post about food called "The Spice Must Flow." As you can guess, I wrote it after watching "Dune" and after making spicy food. I like spice to my food, but not a ton that it sears my tongue or back of my throat. I do find it really fascinating that different spices touch different parts of the mouth, some pleasing and some painful. Now that this description is no longer in caps, what do you think I should get to writing about?

i'm so jealous! we were so frantic with house stuff this summer that i never got a chance to go picking and i'm soooo sad about it.
You are a picking machine! Hope to see what you do with them all winter... we'll all need a reminder of summer.
Jo! That is how I usually feel every summer! Somehow this summer was different, and I count myself very lucky, surely!
Tami ha ha! 99% of them go into our oatmeal in the morning! But when we do something new, I'll remind myself to talk about it here!
Awww amazing! My freezer is filled with bits of summer - namely basil, chillis and limes.

yes, I am totally with you on this one. My freezer is so full with strawberries and peaches and corn and various other goodies, I can hardly open it. Such frozen abundance!
